The American School of Madrid was founded in 1961 to respond to the needs of international executives and their families and to provide a curriculum in English that would prepare graduates for entrance into American, Spanish and other universities around the world.

Today the School's academic reach embraces a heterogeneous international community residing in or around the Spanish capital. ASM educates students from nearly 50 countries who are native speakers in at least 20 different languages.
Situated on its own 10-acre campus in Pozuelo de Alarcón, a suburban residential area just twelve kilometers, seven miles, outside of the Spanish capital of Madrid.

  • Outstanding college and university placement. ASM prepares its students to go on to attend some of the best American, Spanish and other international schools.
